Dealer Strategic Planning Inc. (DSP) today announced that a new tire retailer 20 group has just completed its first meeting July 23-25, 2012.
Hosted by Ken and Stacey Bair, Ocean Air Tire Pros Auto Repair, Virginia Beach, Va., this new group is composed of Tire Pros dealers from non-competing markets all over the U.S.
Dave Crawford, vice president of Tire Pros Operations & Training, attended the first meeting and observed how powerful a 20 group can be in helping independent tire and service dealers uncover hidden profits in their business.
“After hearing positive reviews from many of our Tire Pros dealers who belong to one of DSP’s 20 groups, we decided to organize a group consisting solely of Tire Pros members,” said Crawford.
“After seeing the interaction, best practice sharing plus Norm Gaither’s excellent financial analysis during this one meeting, I am confident this will be a great value-added program for our Tire Pros franchisees who are able to participate.”
Ken and Stacey Bair were among the first Tire Pros members to sign up for the group. They also agreed to host the first meeting which is a real benefit to the host dealer.
Subsequent meetings for this group have been scheduled for the next two years with hosts signed up in advance. The meeting agenda and topics are decided by the dealers. Prior to each meeting, dealers compile a list of their most pressing issues and then at the meeting, the options for solving those issues are discussed.
