The grand opening of the new Sullivan Tire & Auto Service store in Newport, R.I., will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be free food and prizes, and a chance to win a Weber gas grill. There also will be special guest appearances by two Pawtucket Red Sox players from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Misty, the Sullivan Tire dog mascot, also will be on hand for brief appearances. The address of the Newport location is 154 Connell Highway, Newport, RI 02840.
