Three-Layer Cabin Filters

MANN+HUMMEL USA Inc. has developed a new three-layer cabin air filter using polyphenol, a natural plant extract, to lock in allergens and prevent them from entering the vehicle. The first layer is a polyphenol coating that locks in allergens. The second layer is charcoal with activated carbon that absorbs odor and toxic exhaust gas. The third layer, the dust layer, consists of nonwoven material with an anti-microbial function that removes fine dust and particles from the air.
