The Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) will co-sponsor a conference on ground rubber recycling May 8-9, 2008.
The RMA is sponsoring the event, the second annual "Scrap to Profit: Using Ground Rubber in Rubber and Plastics Products," in tandem with the Asphalt Rubber Technology Service at Clemson University and the California Integrated Waste Management Board.
"This year’s conference will continue the effort we started last year by presenting information on the various manners the industry can use ground rubber in molded and extruded rubber and plastic products," says RMA Vice President Michael Blumenthal.
