Vipal Rubber Corp. executives played host to Vipal authorized retreaders from three countries in late September.
Members of the Vipal Authorized Dealer Network represented Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay at Vipal’s facilities in Nova Prata, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, from Sept. 27-30, 2016. The guests included representatives from the following companies: Grupo Salta, Obermann, Zanetti, Bandasur, Gom. Alberti, Gom. Vieytes, Cyco, Terraf, and Precurados San Juan (Argentina); Recapar and Recinpar (Paraguay); and Recomer (Uruguay).
Leandro Rigon, Vipal’s international business director, welcomed the group. The visit began with a welcome at Plant I with Jorge Rampon, industrial manager; Henrique Brito, technology and quality manager; and Mauri Ferreto, technical specialist. The latter was also responsible for presenting the company’s institutional video.
Afterward, Leandro Paim, technical assistance manager, introduced the visitors to Vipal’s new development, the VR01 Smart Duo shaving machine. Next up was a visit to the Vicencio Paludo Technical Center, where Lisandra Abatti, research and development analyst, and Eleno Vieira, research coordinator, gave the visitors a tour of the CPT-Research and Technology Center.
At the end of the day, Ferreto accompanied the guests to Plant II and the lab, and Marcelo Wathier, technical and quality manager took them to VipalTec.
Vipal Rubber has two plants in Nova Prata and one in Feira de Santana, Bahia, totaling about 160,000 square meters of manufacturing facilities and two distributions centers in Brazil.
