Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels is a sponsor at the Fifth Annual Sweet 16 “Battle of the Thrones.”
Sweet 16 5.0 will feature the Baddest Radial Vs. the World, Pro275, X275, limited drag radial (LDR) and ultra street competitions. The races will be March 24-26 at South Georgia Motorsports Park.
“Sweet 16 is back for another year and we’ll be there to support all the action,” says Jason Moulton, Sr. motorsports manager, Mickey Thompson. “When racing enthusiasts gather and bring the best, fastest machines together with this much talent and money on the line, anything can happen.”
The Baddest Radial vs. the World cars will be racing for more than $100,000, and the X275 drivers will be racing for $50,000.
Mickey Thompson’s DOT-approved radial drag tire, the ET Street Radial Pro, is a race tire for classes requiring P275/60R15 or P315/60R15 tires. The company says the racing tire features radial construction designed to take more power for better launches and a minimum tread pattern for maximum traction.
