Bridgestone Americas Inc. has increased prices on Bandag tread rubber and cushion up to 17% in the United States and Canada.
The hike went into effect on May 2.
"Ancillary products will also see an increase respective to current market conditions," say Bridgestone officials.
"Members of the Bridgestone commercial sales teams are contacting customers to provide more detailed information about the changes."
