The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is now accepting nominations for its Tire Industry Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame is open to manufacturers, inventors, media members, equipment suppliers, tire dealers, scrap tire and rubber recycling professionals, retreaders and anyone in the tire industry, according to TIA officials.
"The institution combines traditions of the Tire Association of North America and the International Tire & Rubber Association into a single honor roll," say TIA officials.
Past inductees include Harvey Firestone, Andre Michelin, Charles Goodyear, Les Schwab, Roy Carver and others.
