The Tire Industry Association (TIA) will host four-time Super Bowl champion Rocky Bleier as the motivational speaker during its 2017 OTR Conference.
Bleier will speak Feb. 17, 2017. His talk is sponsored by BKT Tires USA, Inc.
He tells a gripping story from life both on and off the football field. Bleier also is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was drafted by the U.S. Army during his first season playing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he was seriously wounded by rifle fire and grenade fragments in his legs when his platoon was ambushed.
He spent two years recovering, and eventually returned to the Steelers roster as a starting running back and won four Super Bowls.
The OTR Conference will be held February 15-18, 2017, at the Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu’s North Shore in Hawaii. Conference information and registration forms are available at www.tireindustry.org.
