Hunter Engineering Co. has added FastBlast, its topside blast inflation system, as an option on its TCX51H tire changer. This new configuration will be known as 51H Plus.
With FastBlast, the technician sets the position, selects the inflation mode and presses the inflation pedal for an immediate blast from the large 6.5-gallon air tank. It allows for hands-free inflation by a single technician.
“FastBlast™ excels at being able to blast-inflate those big, heavy, balloon truck and SUV tires,” says Jim Hudson, Hunter's product manager for tire changers. “It’s faster, safer, easier and more effective than any other nozzle-based blast inflation.”
Other featured benefits of the 51H tire changer include a heavyweight chassis, 10 to 26-inch external clamping, PowerOut bead breaker and 220V two-speed power.
