The Bridgestone Turanza EL 42 touring tire has been selected as original equipment for the redesigned 2002 BMW 7-Series.
The V-rated tire is the exclusive all-season OE fitment for the BMW 7-Series in the United States.
"The company is supplying the tire in size 245/50R18," say Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire LLC officials.
Bridgestone brand tires are OE on 5% of BMW's domestic light vehicles, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.
