Delta World Tire Co.'s four-month-old store in Gulfport, Miss., is doing well, according to Paul Bernstein, Delta World Tire vice president.

Traffic is up at the six-bay, four-employee location, Bernstein says.

The full-service shop used to be a car repair garage. "We remodeled the interior and exterior and put new equipment in."

The 62-year-old dealership is looking at other expansion opportunities, Bernstein says.

New Orleans, La.-based Delta World Tire has 10 outlets (eight retail and two commercial/retail) throughout Louisiana and Mississippi that employ more than 80 people.

It reported $13 million in sales last year.
