Bridgestone/Firestone donates to missing children program

Dec. 10, 2004

Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC, through its company-owned Firestone Complete Auto Care chain, has given $5,600 to Project Find-A-Child, a missing children program sponsored by ADVO Inc.

The money will help pay for age-processed photo technology, which investigators use to locate missing kids.

"We´re extremely pleased to have Firestone Complete Auto Care´s involvement in this important initiative and believe that by working together to support innovative technology like age-progression, we can help safely recover even more missing children," says Scott Harding, ADVO´s chairman and CEO.

ADVO is a "home-delivered print advertising and solutions company" based in Windsor, Conn., according to ADVO officials.
