Goodyear plans to discuss 3Q results on Wednesday

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will report its third-quarter financial results at the close of the New York Stock Exchange tomorrow. An investor conference call to follow at 10 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

Both Robert Keegan, chairman, CEO and president, and Richard Kramer, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will participate in the conference call.

Shareholders, members of the media and other interested persons may access the conference call on Goodyear´s investor relations Web site (investor.goodyear.com) or by telephone by calling (706) 634-5954 before 9:55 a.m. that day.

A taped replay of the conference call will be available at 2 p.m. by calling (706) 634-4556. The call replay also will remain available on the Web site.

Last week, Goodyear hinted at a strong performance in earnings as well as record sales. The company´s sales estimate of $4.7 billion would be 20% greater than it was in the third quarter of 2003.

Goodyear´s stock closed at $11.80 on Nov. 5. That compares to a 52-week high and low of $12 and $6.15, respectively.
