Carlisle Companies Inc.´s third quarter income was $32.1 million vs. $24.8 million during the same period last year.
Carlisle´s net sales during the third quarter totaled $631.3 million, a 17% increase over third quarter 2003 sales.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based company´s net sales for the first nine months of 2004 were $1.83 billion vs. $1.55 billion during 3Q 2003.
Its income for the first nine months totaled $96.3 million, a $25.6 million jump from the same period last year.
"Carlisle net sales and income from continuing operations set records for the third quarter and first nine months of the year," say Carlisle officials.
