The next National Tire Safety Week will be held April 24-30, 2005, according to the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA).
Tire retailer participation in last year´s Tire Safety Week more than doubled from the previous year, with over 9,000 retail tire shops distributing tire maintenance literature.
"Our tire dealer partners are the backbone of our program and we are encouraged with the level of participation," says RMA spokesman Dan Zielinski. "We hope to continue and expand these very effective partnerships to reach more motorists with important tire care messages in the coming year."
