Rubber Recycling 2004 to include speakers, exhibits

This year´s Rubber Recycling 2004, a biennial event promoted and organized by the Rubber Association of Canada, the Rubber Manufacturers’ Association and the Alberta Recycling Management Authority, will be held at the Rimrock Resort Hotel in Banff, Alberta, Canada, on Oct. 20-22, 2004.

The purpose of Rubber Recycling 2004 is "to promote and encourage rubber recycling by sharing technical and educational information and demonstrating practical applications for recycled rubber,” reports the associations.

Previous Rubber Recycling events have each attracted between 250-350 people from around the globe and included entrepreneurs, government officials, teachers, industry consultants, environmentalists and rubber manufacturers.

Highlights at this year´s event will include speeches from industry veterans with hands-on, real-life experience with rubber recycling applications and an exhibition featuring approximately 25 table top displays of a range of products and services illustrating the scope of recycled rubber products and technology.
