Amerityre Corp. has entered into an agreement with LaJolla, Calif.-based firm International Research & Development (IRD) to license its polyurethane tire technology to developing countries.
IRD will acquire specialized manufacturing equipment from Amerityre to produce the company's Flatfree line and also resell equipment to qualified manufacturing groups abroad.
These groups will be licensed by Amerityre to make, market and distribute the tires within specified territories.
A business group from Sri Lanka recently toured Amerityre's plant in Boulder City, Nev.
