Goodyear Philipines Inc. has received ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification.
The standard specifies quality system requirements for the design, development, production and installation of automotive-related products, according to Goodyear officials.
It is recognized globally.
"We are the first tire company to earn such a distinction in the Philipines," says Dave Morin, Goodyear Philipines' managing director.
