Toronto, Ontario-based tire distribution network Active Green & Ross plans to open a new store in the city next month.
The outlet will be located across the street from Green & Ross' original warehouse, according to Active Green & Ross President Ralph Chiodo.
Active Green & Ross also will acquire 11 Sears Canada auto centers in the greater Toronto area as part of Sears' divestiture of those locations, says Chiodo.
"We intend to operate them as they are with a name change. We will (eventually) offer them to be franchised."
Active's new location in Toronto will follow the same process, he adds.
Active Green & Ross has 43 outlets total.
