Stellar Industries Inc. is adding a new member to its X-Tra-Lift family of pick-up mounted hydraulic loading devices -- the Xchange 3.
The Xchange 3 expands the use of a standard pick-up box because of its versatility. Various bodies -- up to nine-feet long with a total weight of 3,000 pounds -- can be interchanged on an Xchange 3-equipped truck, including dump boxes, flatbed bodies and small water or fertilizer tanks.
The hydraulic action of the single-pivot hooklift allows not only for loading and off-loading, but also for dumping loads with a tipping angle up to 45 degrees with an eight-foot body.
The X-Tra-Lift Xchange 3 uses permanently lubricated bushings and stainless steel pins, according to the company. There are no wear pads.
