Continental Tire North America Inc. has hired Jim Seidel as director of replacement sales for the company's Passenger and Light Truck (PLT) group. His official title is director of dealer sales.
According to Continental, Seidel will be accountable "for the profitable growth of the PLT dealer sales channel" in the United States and Canada. He will oversee the PLT regional managers, their regional teams and the key account managers for American Car Care Centers, Tire Alliance Group and TreadTech.
Seidel, who has more than 15 years of years of tire industry sales experience, will relocate to Charlotte, N.C., where Continental is headquartered.
