Quantas Airways' new Jetstar Airways carrier will use Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s Flight Radial aviation tires.
Radial aviation tires ensure more landings per tread and greater load carrying capacity than bias tires, according to Goodyear officials.
Goodyear and Quantas have signed a five-year supply agreement.
