The United States Army is using tires filled with Arnco's SuperFlex polyurethane flatproofing material at its Nevada test facility.
The tires are mounted on Hummers, according to Arnco officials.
"The seven Hummers at the base would go through six tires every two weeks."
Since the military started using SuperFlex, "there has not been a single tire failure," say Arnco officials.
