The book chronicles the author's struggle with losing his sight to an incurable eye disease. It begins with diagnosis, walks you through the stages of sight loss, and explores emotional and physical problems associated with going blind.

The book was written as a guide for others who may be faced with sight loss, says the author, and includes information on available visual aids and rehabilitation options.
