Big O Tires Inc. has donated $65,000 to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
The amount was financed by donations from more than 500 Big O franchises, plus its parent company, TBC Corp.
"All of us who work in the Big O system were deeply moved by the difficult circumstances our citizens experienced from the effects of Hurricane Katrina," says Greg Kimberlin, a Big O franchisee from the LaGrange, Ky., area.
"We support the efforts of the American Red Cross as they work to improve the lives of those who have literally lost everything."
