Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC (BFNT) and professional football team the Tennessee Titans are helping the Nashville, Tenn., chapter of the Red Cross spearhead a community blood drive and fundraising campaign to help Hurricane Katrina victims.
The blood drive will take place Sept. 17 at the Coliseum in downtown Nashville.
In addition, BFNT and the Titans will each donate a dollar for every seat in the arena to the Red Cross.
Earlier this week, BFNT parent company Bridgestone Corp. announced it is donating more than $1 million to hurricane relief efforts.
