The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is encouraging its members in Louisiana and Mississippi to call (800) 876-8372, ext. 103, to get a list of disaster relief resources available to them.
The number also provides information on how to register for disaster assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency, plus information on recovery assistance through the Small Business Administration.
"The devastation that has occurred in Louisiana and Mississippi is just beyond our imagination,” said Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president.
"Like so many other Americans we are watching the news reports with great sadness. We are offering one central resource for our members, in the hope that it can alleviate some frustration and save them time in searching for contact information."
