Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. will increase medium truck tire prices up to 4% effective October 1, 2005.
David Hudrlik, vice president and director of sales, cites "continuing price increases for raw materials and rising shipping costs" as the reason for the increase. Kumho last raised prices up to 8% on June 1, 2005.
Continental Tire North America Inc. also will raise its truck tire prices effective Oct. 1 -- up to 7% on all its brands.
