EZ Lube Inc. has acquired nine Grease Monkey quick lube locations in Riverside, Calif.
EZ Lube officials say the purchase makes their company the largest fast lube chain in California.
The Santa Ana, Calif.-based firm also has opened three facilities in the state. The recent additions bring EZ Lube's facility count in California to 67.
Grease Monkey remains the ninth largest quick lube chain in the United States with more than 190 outlets. (Jiffy Lube is the largest quick lube chain in the country with 2,000-plus locations.)
