Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) has named Carl Casalbore its director of PLT (passenger and light truck) dealer sales, United States and Canada.
"Carl is accountable for the development and management of the dealer sales channel for the CTNA passenger and light truck replacement business," say CTNA officials.
Casalbore most recently worked for Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. as its vice president of marketing and retail sales.
In mid-April, Cooper announced that it and Casalbore had parted ways. Casalbore joined Cooper in 1999 after a 20-year stint at Pirelli Tire North America Inc.
CTNA's previous director of PLT dealer sales, Jim Seidel, left CTNA last week "to pursue other business opportunities."
