Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has named Ronald Sawyer as vice president, information technology, responsible for the acquisition, development and deployment of Cooper’s business applications and computing infrastructure.
A Cooper employee since 1983, Sawyer previously worked as analyst programmer, manufacturing systems manager and technical systems manager in Findlay, Ohio, and director of information technology for Oliver Rubber Co., a Cooper subsidiary in Athens, Ga.
Most recently, he worked in Findlay as manufacturing IT manager.
