Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire, LLC, has introduced new Road King Intimidator SR and Lemans SR tires.
The Road King Intimidator SR is an entry-level performance tire made with the company's UNI-T technology. It has wide grooves to reduce hydroplaning and white letter styling on one side, a black serrated band blackwall on the other.
It is available in 21 sizes in 70-, 65-, 60- and 55-series.
The Lemans SR is an affordably priced all-season performance tire, says the company, with large tread elements and a performance tread compound to provide traction and handling in both wet and dry conditions.
The tread designs have been matched to the tire's vehicle applications, reports the company. The tread for SUV and light truck sizes has five ribs and four major grooves, while other sizes have four ribs and three major grooves to optimize wear and deliver a smooth, quiet ride. All models have major cross-slots and grooves to help reduce hydroplaning and improve traction in wet, dry and snow conditions.
Blackwall sizes are T-speed rated, while the white letter sizes are S-speed rated. The Lemans SR is available in 21 sizes in 70-, 65-, 60- and 55-series.
