Cooper promotes two

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. announced two promotions in its finance department.

Mark Ehren is the new director of financial planning and analysis. He is responsible "for leading one of the company's first non-manufacturing lean initiatives to streamline the internal planning processes," according to Cooper.

His most recent position was controller for Cooper's Commercial Products Division. Ehren joined the company as a cost analyst in 1985.

James Miller was promoted to senior business planning manager. He is responsible for supervising the transition of the Commercial Products Division to Cooper's planning systems and procedures. He also will coordinate financial and tactical planning for the division.

Miller, formerly business planning manager for Cooper Tire's strategic planning department, joined the company's accounting department in 1976.
