Goodyear continues support of CORR racing

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will supply tires to several competing teams in the 2005 Championship Off Road Racing (CORR) series.

"Goodyear has experienced great past success in all forms of off-road racing, including the CORR series, and we have been able to showcase our tires on various off-road trucks that have captured the checkered flag," said Steve Miller, Goodyear marketing and promotions manager. "This year, we’ll be featuring the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R product line in competition.

The 2005 CORR season begins May 21-22 at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Mich. In 2004, 167 drivers (47 Pro and 120 Sportsman), representing 20 states and Canada, competed in the series.

The Speed Channel network, reaching 63 million households, is the television home of CORR, covering 84 hours of racing action from the Lucas Oil Pro and Sportsman Series.
