Groupe Michelin will build a new earthmover tire plant next to its heavy truck tire factory in Campo Grande, Brazil.
The new plant is expected to start production during the second half of 2007.
It will manufacture 25- to 49-inch tires.
"The plant will allow Michelin to better serve its earthmover customers in the North and South American markets," say Groupe Michelin officials.
