Carl Casalbore, vice president of marketing and retail sales for the Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., has left the company. According to a Cooper spokesperson, Casalbore left "to pursue other opportunities."
Casalbore joined Cooper Tire in 1999 as director of Pirelli brand sales after a 20-year career with Pirelli Tire North America Inc.'s North American operations. In 2002 he was promoted to vice president of retail sales and high performance tire development.
Two years later, he was promoted to vice president of marketing and retail sales in the company's North American Tire division.
Casalbore was instrumental in developing Cooper's high performance tire program, according to the Cooper spokesperson, who added that the program is moving "full-speed ahead."
