KYB America LLC recently opened its KYB LatinoAmerica subsidiary, a warehouse facility located in Mexico City.
The warehouse distributes KYB's full line of ride control products to the Mexican and Central and South American markets.
"KYB is committed to being the global leader in the supply of shocks and struts to the automotive aftermarket," said Mike Howarth, KYB's senior vice president.
Besides helping develop its presence in the Mexican aftermarket, the new KYB warehouse will help increase sales in Central and South America. It also will enhance KYB's relationship with the original equipment market in Mexico.
KYB, which produces a full line of domestic and import ride control products for the replacement market, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kayaba Industry Co. Ltd. KYB has annual sales in excess of $1.8 billion.
