Kumho Tire USA Inc. is raising its passenger and light truck tire prices 4% and its medium truck tire prices 3% on March 1 next year.
"Increasing costs" make the price hikes necessary, according to a Kumho official.
Other tiremakers that have raised prices within the past two weeks include Bridgestone/Firestone Americas Holding Inc., Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. and Michelin North America Inc.
