Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp. has unveiled several new tires and new sizes to existing lines at this week's International Tire Expo in Las Vegas, Nev.
Toyo's new Proxes TPT (Total Performance Touring) tire is an all-season, H- and V-rated product available in 23 sizes for cars with 14-, 15- and 16-inch wheels; it comes with a 65,000-mile limited tread wear warranty.
The company's new M-147 radial commercial truck tire is designed for steer axle, over-the-road applications and contains its proprietary DSOC II technology.
Toyo has introduced a flotation-style 33x13.0R18 size for its year-old Open Country A/T light truck and SUV line "to answer the needs of outdoor enthusiasts who require a larger diameter tire to handle rough terrain," say Toyo officials.
The Cypress, Calif.-based manufacturer has added 12 sizes to its Proxes T1-S ultra-high performance passenger tire line.
