Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has named Nigel Lewis managing director of Cooper Tire International Trading Co. in Singapore.
Lewis will be responsible for overseeing the operations of Cooper's Singapore buying office, as well as the procurement of natural rubber.
Lewis joined Avon Tyres in 1971 and was promoted to purchasing director of Cooper's Melksham, England, Avon plant in 2002. His purchasing experience, in particular raw materials and natural rubber, spans 20-plus years.
