In 2010, Cooper will continue its title sponsorship of the Cooper Tires British Formula 3 Series, as well as the Cooper Tires-presented US F2000 National Championship powered by Mazda and the (IMSA) Cooper Tires Prototype Lites. Under the Avon brand, the company will be sole tyre supplier to the Avon Tyres British GT Championship, the FIA Formula 2 Championship and a host of other championships around the world.
Paul Coates, Technical Manager at the company for 15 years, will take on the role of General Manager of the Motorsport Division, assuming responsibility for Commercial and Technical departments and all aspects of the Motorsport business.
Mike Lynch will be promoted to Technical Manager – Motorsport – and will be responsible for the Technical department.
