One lucky race fan will close-out the 2010 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series season in style as the grand prize winner of the 2010 “Watch and Win” sweepstakes. The winner will motor away from the 2010 Grand-Am Rolex Series season finale at Miller Motorsports Park behind the wheel of the Pirelli Tires Dempsey Racing Edition 2010 Mazda RX-8 customized by automotive design legend Chip Foose. In a collaborative effort, Pirelli, Grand-Am, Chip Foose, SPEED, Mazda and Dempsey Racing have joined forces for the “Watch and Win” 2010 sweepstakes.
The sweepstakes officially begins during SPEED’s 16 hours of live coverage from the 48th Rolex 24 at Daytona beginning at 3 p.m. EST on Saturday, Jan. 30 and continuing at 7 a.m. EST on Sunday, Jan. 31st. During the Rolex 24 telecast and continuing through SPEED’s coverage of the first 11 races of the 2010 Rolex Series season, viewers will be shown a “Watch and Win” code word several times throughout the broadcast.
Once fans see the code word, they will simply need to log on to GRAND-AM.com/foose in order to enter the sweepstakes. One winner will be chosen following each of the first 11 races to receive a trip to the 2010 Rolex Series finale at Miller Motorsports Park near Salt Lake City, complete with airfare, hotel accommodations, all access credentials and a chance to spend the day with Dempsey Racing. One of the 11 winners will take home the Pirelli Tires Dempsey Racing edition 2010 Mazda RX-8 grand prize.
