The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is offering a webinar on issues related to retaining and terminating employees. “Ignite or Fire: Know when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em” is free to TIA members and will be Dec. 16, 2014, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. ET.
The webinar is hosted by Federated Insurance Companies, which is TIA’s preferred provider of business and workers’ comp insurance. TIA says the webinar will be conducted by Enquiron as part of the Federated Employment Practices Network.
“Managers and supervisors are oftentimes faced with tough decisions about retaining or terminating employees and this webinar will help shed some light on these difficult issues,” says TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield.
The webinar will be presented by Lola Kakes, founder of EffortlessHR. Kakes has more than 30 years as a human resource and corporate compliance professional. She is recognized as a specialist in small business reporting requirements and successful management/employee relations, according to TIA.
