Fountain Tire Expands Retreading Operation
Fountain Tire has expanded it retreading operation after acquiring the Benson Tire retread plant in London, Ontario.
The facility spans 20,000 square feet and has the capacity to manufacture more than 30,000 retread annually.
It's Fountain Tire's fifth retread plant. The others are located in Kamloops, British Columbia; Edmonton, Alberta; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The addition of the former Benson Tire plant will increase Fountain Tire's retread production capacity by 25%.
