GRI Appoints Tharindu Atapattu as CEO

Global Rubber Industries (Pvt) Ltd. (GRI) has appointed Tharindu Atapattu as the next CEO of the company.  

Atapattu has over 20 years of leadership experience and has expertise in financial planning, cost optimization, data-driven decision-making, customer service strategies and more, according to GRI officials.  

At GRI, Atapattu will focus on strengthening financial resilience, achieving manufacturing excellence, optimizing the global supply chain, cultivating talent and capabilities and leveraging digital transformation for new opportunities.  

His previous roles included serving as director and CEO of Swisstek Aluminum Ltd., and Lanka Swisstek Pvt. Ltd. - India.
