Ascenso Tires North America and K&S Tire brought together local dealers and growers in Kansas for a "VF (very-high flexion) day" to spotlight its latest ag tire.

Showcasing the Ascenso VHR 3000 tire, the event "gave attendees a firsthand look at how the VF tire delivers measurable agronomic and economic advantages under real field conditions," say company officials.

Featuring steel-belted VF construction, which "allows the tire to carry the same load as a standard radial at 40% lower inflation pressure or carry 40% more load at the same inflation pressure," the Ascenso VHR 3000 includes a wider footprint that spreads weight across a larger contact patch.

The tire also offers less soil compaction, maximum flotation and soil protection and a "special stubble resistance (SSR) compound for longer tire life and better protection on the field," according to officials.

The field day was designed to engage with the company's dealer network and demonstrate the value of its tires through demonstrations and training.

“Events like these are exactly how we support our dealer partners and the growers they serve," says Dave Carlin, west regional director of sales, Ascenso Tires North America.

"When a farmer can see the difference a VF tire makes in their own field — less compaction, lower fuel bills, and better yields — the decision becomes a lot easier. We’re proud to work alongside dealers like K&S Tire who share that commitment to doing right by the customer.”
