Meet the 2nd and 3rd Tires in General's Specialty Tire Line

Continental Tire the Americas LLC is expanding its lineup of material handling tires with two from the General brand — the General Tire Trac and the General Tire Smooth. The press-on-band tires are available in both the U.S. and Canada. They extend General's specialty tire lineup, which was launched in 2018 with the General Tractor V.ply tire.

The company says the material handling tires offer resistance to cuts and tears, high mileage and durability, and at great price performance ratio.

The General Tire Trac is designed to excel in all types of outdoor applications where a gripping edge is required. Its optimized tread design ensures best in class traction and high stability. The tire is available in six sizes:

18X6X12 1/8

18X7X12 1/8

21X7X15

21X8X15

22X9X16

The General Tire Smooth also promotes high stability and its smooth tread design excels in indoor applications where excellent traction and reduced chunking is needed for optimal performance. It comes in 13 sizes:
