Hunter Adds Safety System Alignment Information to HunterNet

Feb. 26, 2019

Hunter Engineering Co. has added information required for resetting advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to its HunterNet smart technology platform.

Hunter says safety system reset is required in conjunction with wheel alignment by many original equipment manufacturers.

The HunterNet connectivity means safety system alignment information is now accessible online anywhere and anytime. Hunter says access to safety system alignment information will better equip shops to sell and perform proper wheel alignment service.

Kaleb Silver is director of product management, systems technology for Hunter. He says: “As the number of vehicles equipped with advanced driver assistance systems continues to grow, it’s important to have an up-to-date online resource that shows what resets are required by the OE after a common service like wheel alignment.”

HunterNet provides real-time data to shops through equipment results, trends and management reports.
