Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) has unveiled a new forklift tire, the CSEasy, which does not require a press, technician or equipment for installation.
"This resilient solid pneumatic tire can be fitted on-site, ensuring the forklift is back in full operation within mere minutes," say CTNA officials, who add that the key to the CSEasy is the re-usable adapter between the tire and the rim.
"Due to the adapter's conical shape, the tire is already in the proper position and with a simple torque wrench, the CSEasy can be mounted quickly and easily, making the press redundant and signficantly reducing the amount of time for tire changes."
